snake

Believe it or not but this is the first wild snake we have seen in AZ , Mexico (except sea snakes) or even South America! I don't think he is a rattler but would like to know what he is so let us know if you know! He's just down the street from our house.

visit by the Easter bunny?

At about 5:30 tonight, we were visited by this bunny. Could it be the Easter bunny? He's very close to the ground squirrel's hole.

Mesquite tree outside our window

The leaves are bright green and tiny. The blossoms are like little green tassles on this tree on the east side of our house. See the rabbit under it?

Mt Lemmon

Last Sunday we drove up Mt Lemmon, about 9000 ft. just north of Tucson. Here is a view above the road, of the hoodoos. A month ago this road was closed because of snow. We wonder how the skiers got to the nearby ski lift!
