Parade today!

 Tha annual White Elephant Parade had 114 entries and lasted 2 hours! There were lots of school marching bands, oodles of charitable organizations, fabulous antique cars etc. Quite a parade! The While Elephant Store is a huge store like the Goodwill. It gives its profits to all sorts of schools and other community organizations. Last year it gave away $1.4 million!

Susan's Havanese dogs

 Last weekend I accompanied Susan to Auburn WA where there was stiff competition among toy dogs and humans for timed courses for the dogs to run through tunnels, jump over special jumps, run up and down steep A shapes, walk on high ramps and teeter totters. Toy dogs are 17 inches or less at their shoulders. Susan's Havanese are much shorter than that but they can run very fast - when they WANT to!
