snow on the Santa Rita Mtns

Last night it SNOWED on our local mountains!!!

No more big plant so we can have our garden here next to our bamboo fountain in the big crock on the left side of this photo. It's early to plant delicate plants but we do have a ceramic fish and a quail with her 2 babies, also ceramic.

The girls are visiting Green Valley for a month. This picture was taken when we visited the Arid Garden. It's full of native plants and trees but, being winter, not much in bloom!

This guy wandered by our house yesterday, limping. He has a cholla cactus sticking onto his left rear leg. See it? I'd limp too with that cactus on my leg!!! Last week a coyote wandered by, just getting from A to B in no particular hurry but we missed gatting a photo.
