on the sunny deck

&n Mandy, Melissa, Jasmine and Fred on their deck overlooking the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains to the west. It's a great place to watch weather as it changes, also, to watch sunsets over the mountains.

kayaking in the Hood Canal

Herm and Nancy borrowed fred and Melissa's kayaks for a nice tour along the shore. The mornings were cloudy and cool but the sun came out in the afternoons while we visited the Washington Fords during the first week of August.
