Merry Christmas to ALL!

We are happy to be in Nuevo Vallarta. The sea water in San Carlos is 52 degrees and got gradually warmer as we sailed south. The wind was from the north about 15 knots for the first 3 days and nights, directly downwind so we were able to sail all the time, rolly as it was. And it WAS rolly: 6 seconds between waves!!! We lost our wind then and had to motor for the last 2 days. Didn't even put a line in the water as landing a fish and fileting it were too much effort to imagine.

It's 68 degrees here, hardly swimming temp but still warm enough to wear shorts in the daytime. There's plenty to do here besides fixing the boat and a much later deadline as we expect to be here for a couple of months. It's fun to be with our friends here.
