Ficus trees, all trimmed

We walk through here at noon every day to the pool and have watched guys hand clipping the trees and painting their trunks white. We aren't sure they look better this way but they grow pretty fast. Note cobblestone road, the bane of bicyclists! These are condominiums, all empty. In fact, our hotel is empty except for a few guests (noisy) on the weekends. During holidays we don't want to be here but it's great now.
